The first book that illustrates the correct way of wearing ribbons, medals and awards earned by the diplomatic corps accredited to the Holy See, the Sovereign Order of Malta and respective Dignitaries, depending on the type of ceremony and dress code to be followed. In order to have a better understanding of which outfits and honours to wear in which circumstances, the author describes the path taken through the magnificent halls of the Apostolic Palaces on the way to meet the Vicar of Christ. Protocol for the visit is rightly described as strict, where “nothing is left to chance”.
